SEND Request

As part of our Tiered Approach to supporting schools, Specialist Teachers can provide advice for early intervention for pupils on SEND Support and those with EHC plans.

To access Specialist Teacher Support please email the following documents securely to sts@buckinghamshire.gov.uk:

  • the completed SEND Request Form as a Word document
  • the completed Consents Form
  • the pupil's SEND support plan / EHCP (if applicable). The SEN Support plan must show one complete cycle of Assess, Plan, Do, and Review.

Only completed requests with consent can be actioned.

Once the request has been received, a Specialist Teacher will contact you via email to arrange a time to discuss.

Any significant and unexpected increase in the statutory work will require us to prioritise our statutory work.

This process has replaced our Advice Sessions, and by doing so, we aim to offer more flexible and regular support for schools.

Cognition and Learning

Buckinghamshire Council’s Cognition and Learning Teachers provide traded, high-quality cognition and learning assessments, exam access arrangements and bespoke training.
