Specialist Teacher Support
Specialist Teacher Support
As part of our Tiered Approach to allow schools to receive advice, support, and strategies from the Specialist Teachers at every stage of SEND Support the Aylesbury Area Specialist Teachers are offering regular Advice Sessions.
Each session provides half an hour, face-to-face or remote support for an individual school or setting. Prior to a session, we will ask you to complete a proforma outlining your needs which allows us to best prepare for the meeting. Feel free to discuss an individual pupil’s needs (anonymously) or a range of school-based approaches which may help across a number of learners.
Advice Sessions are free to book and the links are below:

In order to allow fair access please do only book one session at a time although you are, of course, more than welcome to attend again if needed.
Remote sessions will take place via Microsoft Teams and if a face to face session is preferred this will take place within the Abbey Centre, Aylesbury.
If there are no sessions available or you are having trouble booking onto a session please contact the team via email: sts@buckinghamshire.gov.uk and we will ensure we find you a suitable session.
Please note these sessions are primarily for Aylesbury Area Schools please contact your local area hub team (Chiltern and South Bucks or Wycombe) for bookings in other areas.
Buckinghamshire Council’s Cognition and Learning Teachers provide traded, high-quality cognition and learning assessments, exam access arrangements and bespoke training.
