Chiltern & South Bucks escalation protocol
As an integrated service, we support children/young people, their families and settings to achieve the best possible outcomes for all. If you feel that the service is not supporting the delivery of these outcomes in the way that it should, you can escalate your concerns using the following procedure.
SENCo Support Networks
Details of officers in your network are available on our Who we are page

Spring Term: 16th March 2022 2:00pm -3:00pm

Summer Term: 15th June 2022 2:00pm -3:00pm

Educational Psychologist virtual consultation sessions (VCS)
A Termly 1-hour virtual consultation session is offered by a named Educational Psychologist allocated to your school. The VCS aims to provide a space for the school SENCo or another appropriate member of staff to engage with the EP in a shared problem-solving consultation. If individual children or young people are discussed during the VCS this must be done anonymously, which means that no parental consent is required

Specialist Teacher Support for pupils on SEND Support
SEND Request Form (Download) Updated September 2021
As part of our Tiered Approach to supporting schools, Specialist Teachers will be able to provide the early intervention, assessment, and advice for pupils on SEND Support and those with EHC plans. It is recognised that schools need access to early intervention and support and we continue to work with schools so that we can provide this early support.
To access Specialist Teacher Support please complete the SEND Request Form (fillable pdf form) and only email the form and pupil’s SEND Support plan to sts@buckinghamshire.gov.uk. The SEN Support plan must show one complete cycle of Assess, Plan, Do, Review. Only requests with the completed forms including parental consent and SEND Support plan can be actioned. Once the request has been received, a Specialist Teacher will contact you via email to arrange a time to discuss.
This process has replaced our Advice Sessions and by doing so, we aim to offer more flexible and regular support for schools that require it.
* any significant and unexpected increase in the statutory work will require us to prioritise the statutory work.

All efforts are made to ensure that the below iSEND staff allocations stay the same, we may need to make amendments to allow for statutory work.
