Who we are and how to contact us
Chiltern & South Bucks escalation protocol
As an integrated service we support children/young people, their families and settings to achieve the best possible outcomes for all. If you feel that the service is not supporting the delivery of these outcomes in the way that it should, you can escalate your concerns using the following procedure.
SENCo Support Networks
SENCo Support Network Session Dates
The CSB Area Team will be holding half termly SEND Network Sessions starting after the Autumn half term break. All sessions will be delivered via MS Teams and run from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
The sessions will comprise Information/Training, followed by a Q and A Forum. For the Q and A Forum, we will split up in to our 6 Networks and each Network will have CSB iSEND professionals join them. The dates are below, and you can book online using the links provided:
Wednesday May 5th 2021– Book here

Educational Psychologist virtual consultation sessions (VCS)
A Termly 1 ½ hour virtual consultation session is offered by a named Educational Psychologist allocated to your school. The VCS aims to provide a space for the school SENCo or another appropriate member of staff to engage with the EP in a shared problem-solving consultation. If individual children or young people are discussed during the VCS this must be done anonymously, which means that no parental consent is required.
Specialist Teacher Support for pupils on SEND Support
As part of our Tiered Approach to supporting schools, Specialist Teachers will be able to provide the early intervention, assessment and advice for pupils on SEND Support and those with EHC plans. It is recognised that schools need access to early intervention and support and we continue to work with schools so that we can provide this early support.
To access support for pupils on SEND Support please complete the SEND Request Form (fillable pdf form) and only email the form and pupil’s SEND Support plan to firstname.lastname@example.org. Following that a specialist teacher will contact you via email to arrange a time to discuss.
This process has replaced our Advice Sessions and by doing so, we aim to offer more flexible and regular support for schools that require it.
