Description

• Upskilling all teachers and particularly subject leads in foundation subjects including the intent, implementation and impact of all these subjects.
• The foundation subjects may not have been reviewed as frequently as the core subjects due to the demands of the end of key stage expectations and these now need to be brought up to the same standard whilst always being mindful of teacher and pupil workload and well being.

Ideas for implementation:

• Shared CPD from specialist advisors
• Sharing expertise between schools particularly from Secondary school (Chalfont’s Community College) to primary schools.
• Discussion between infant and junior schools to ensure progression

Outcomes

• Reviewed and revised curriculum polices and plans showing Intent, Implementation and Impact for all foundation subjects.
