To explore and better understand memory techniques that can better support student learning

A presentation from Robin Launder (4pm -5.30pm Wednesday 8/1/2020. Follow up review from each school to review how the implementation of the ideas have positively impacted learning. Discussed at a future Liaison group meeting.

Outcomes

The speaker will outline 12 evidence-based strategies. He will explain the theory behind retrieval practice and how these can be effectively implemented in schools.
Within each school staff review these strategies at a staff meeting following the presentation and plan implementation.
