Early Career Headship Programme
We are pleased to offer a support programme which includes CPD sessions, School Improvement guidance and a welcome to the Buckinghamshire Council support teams. These will be a mixture of online and face-to-face sessions where new headteachers will receive guidance in topics such as wellbeing, safeguarding, finance, HR, governors and admissions. Several sessions have been split into Primary and Secondary phases to ensure the information is appropriate.
CPD sessions will focus on wellbeing, people-management and building relationships. School Improvement sessions will be led by the BC Advisers and guests and cover topics such as ‘The Role of the Headteacher’, ‘Leadership and Management of Safeguarding’ and ‘Preparing for Ofsted’.
