After eighteen years as a teacher and a member of the School Leadership Team in a Bucks school I sought a new career in the SIMS/FMS team. Back in school I had had specific responsibility for pupil assessment data and analysis and led the Mathematics curriculum area. I had also spent many years training teachers, teaching assistants and trainee teachers and presenting at conferences. These experiences and an interest in finance, budgets and databases helped me to secure the role of FMS ICT Analyst in June 2016. I know just how busy school offices are; I have also been that person in school ringing for support on many occasions and greatly appreciated when given accurate guidance on best practice. I therefore aspire to provide the best, most effective level of support and training to schools.
