Every school has a duty to ensure that all of their pupils have access to independent and impartial information, advice and guidance about all of the options available to them at 16+. Connexions works in the majority of Bucks schools so young people may be able to make an appointment with a Connexions PA through their school.
NB: The Connexions service in Buckinghamshire is delivered by Adviza Partnership.

Schools have a duty to inform their local authority's youth support service when Year 12 or 13 students leave or drop out of all of their courses early. The youth support service can then quickly engage with the young person to help them get back into learning or work. In Buckinghamshire the County Council have contracted Connexions Buckinghamshire to do this work.
A proforma is available to download below which should be completed whenever students leave all their courses early.
A completed proforma should be returned as soon as possible after a student or group of students leave or drop out of all their courses of study. The blank proforma is named XXXX Post 16 Students Leaving Courses and you need to change the XXXX to your DfE number before you save and return your completed proforma. It should be sent to Connexions Buckinghamshire via the secure file transfer website AnyComms Plus as follows:-
