Training details

A new national training package, which is being tailored to a Buckinghamshire context, will be delivered to one member of staff in each school and college across Buckinghamshire. This will provide guidance and resources for education staff on responding to the impact of Covid-19 on the wellbeing of their students and pupils.

All schools will be asked to nominate a member of staff to attend the training. The DfE have advised that the nominate member of staff could be a mental health lead, SENCo, pastoral lead or SLT member. Settings may wish to also involve school nurses. The nominated member of staff will be required to cascade the training to all staff members within their own school.

This training will be delivered to schools in liaison groups, and will be in the form of three twilight virtual sessions. The dates for these training sessions is as follows, you will have been contacted directly to secure a place for your nominated member of staff.
