Open Events - Summer and Autumn Term 2020

Please read the notes below before accessing the online booking system.

Before you select a date, see the overview of bookings made by other schools to check for any potential clashes. Bear in mind that parents may wish to visit a number of schools. If you see an issue with a possible clash you will need to contact the school in question directly, to discuss dates.

You may select dates in June, July, September and October as you wish. If a date is not available, it will appear in red. There are a small number of dates where you can only book a day or evening session – these will have an accompanying note to explain. You can book on the hour and half hour time slots, however please email us if you would like a different time to be added.

Add notes to your bookings to give helpful information for parents, such as timings of headteacher presentations and parking arrangements. Enter these in the ‘Description of event and information about the event’ box.

Please also consider whether you should offer additional dates, especially if any of your open events were particularly busy last year. Open events are the perfect opportunity to showcase your school and it is very important that parents are able to visit.

Make your bookings by Thursday 19 December at the very latest. We will confirm the open events calendar for all schools early in the spring term. It will then be made available to parents on the Council’s website.
