Cognition and Learning

Qualified Specialist Teachers provide cognition and Learning support across Buckinghamshire with expert knowledge of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in the classroom. The Specialist Cognition and Learning Teachers work with SENDCOs, class teachers and teaching assistants (TAs) to help them meet the needs of their pupils with specific and general learning difficulties.

Buckinghamshire Council's Cognition and Learning Teachers provide traded, high-quality cognition and learning assessment, exam access arrangements and bespoke training. Support is also available through:

Advice sessions - Aylesbury Hub and Wycombe Hub
