Admissions arrangements (statutory)

Background:

The School Admissions Code applies to all schools.  The Local Authority sets admission arrangements for Community and Voluntary Controlled schools, Voluntary Aided, Foundation and Academies determine their own arrangements.

Approval:

Full governing board or a committee of the governing board where the school is an admissions authority.

Review frequency: Arrangements to be determined annually.  Any changes must be consulted on and where no changes are made, consultation is required at least every seven years.
